BIG-NAME

concerts were arriving more regularly than Dublin buses this year and then the fans ran out of money. There were empty seats at expected sell-outs like Taylor Swift and Michael Bublé. But I am assured more tickets have been sold this year than any before – and that the record inflow of cash was spread too thinly over too many concerts. A Dublin gig usually means a stay over for a couple, so between hotels, tickets and merry-making it can cost the best part of €1,000.
