DECLUTTERING WITH STYLE

-

If you’ve ever looked at your cluttered computer desk and sighed with frustration, help is at hand.

The founder of Understands made his first wooden desk stand in 2015 to declutter his desk, and wondered how many other desks could use the same help? Mike Fisher’s company salvage local logs instead of sourcing new wood that needs transporting.

This urban wood as they call it is then milled and crafted in to beautiful desk stands for computers or tablets. Crafted from ash or walnut their Evo range of stands fuses natural wood and traditional craftsmanship to solve high-tech storage problems.

The Evo includes a special iMac undermount to perfectly fit Apple’s home computer. There’s even an optional fitted drawer that has a cable management feature to keep cables tidy.

The Butler range also fits directly on to the Apple iMac and the attached shelf helps keep hard drives or USB devices close to the charging ports on the Mac. They’re available online and start at around €50, and are probably the best way to bring zen back in to your home office.
