Everton agree £44m Richarlison fee
EVERTON have agreed a £44million deal with Watford for winger Richarlison.
The 21-year-old Brazilian will undergo a medical tomorrow after the clubs finalised terms.
The fee for Richarlison will represent an incredible profit for Watford, who paid £11.5m to Fluminense last summer.
Talks over a deal took shape in London on Thursday after Watford showed initial resistance to sell to the Goodison Park club following their pursuit of Watford’s former manager Marco Silva.
Richarlison (above), who attracted interest from Chelsea and Tottenham last season, was left out of Watford’s 3-1 win over Fortuna Dusseldorf yesterday as he finalised terms with Everton.
Marco Silva played a pivotal role in tempting the Brazilian to Merseyside and is also hoping to convince 20-year-old winger Ademola Lookman to stay, despite his desire to play first team football with Red Bull Leipzig in Germany.
