OUTDOOR ACTIVITY BREAKS IN DUBLIN

-

PEDAL THROUGH THE HEART OF DUBLIN

DUBLIN is a city that’s made for cycling. The comparatively flat centre and the development of new cycle lanes have meant more and more are travelling around on two wheels. Dublin City Bike Tours is a guided tour that will make even those who feel they knew everything there is to know about the capital think again. The 7.5-mile loop takes in places old and new and it’s a great way to see the city differently.

The tour calls to the ever-changing Docklands, and you will want to return to check out the EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum. It’s located in the beautifully restored CHQ building and it was on the itinerary of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their recent official state visit.

Staying on the northside of the Liffey, a tour of the GAA Museum at Croke Park — also visited by Harry and Meghan — is a must for sports fans, as is a walk along the Ericsson Skyline to be found on the roof of the Cusack Stand.
