Singers and musicians lined up for Croker… but not Phoenix Park

A host of musical talent will perform for the Pope during the Festival of Families event at Croke Park on saturday, August 25 including renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli, left.

But it appears there will be no such entertainment at the Phoenix Park the following day.

the show in front of an 80,000strong crowd will also feature Nathan Carter; the Riverdance troupe; Daniel o’Donnell, right; the Begley Family; the Priests; the holy Family Deaf Choir and Deaftones; Celine Byrne; Paddy Moloney; and Moya Brennan.

there will also be an orchestra, plus hundreds of dancers and a 1,000strong choir.
