Gayle out as WBA move looms

■ DWIGHT GAYLE was left out of Newcastle’s squad for their 1-0 friendly defeat by Augsburg at St James’ Park yesterday as he looks to finalise terms on his swap move to West Bromwich Albion. Gayle (left) will move to the Hawthorns with Salomon Rondon heading in the opposite direction. Rondon was left out of the WBA squad which lost 2-1 at home to Bolton in the Championship. Newcastle will pay an initial £2m loan fee with both having the option to become permanent next summer. Meanwhile, Newcastle have bid £6.2million for Paris St Germain left-back Stanley N’Soki.
