WEATHER FORECAST

-

IT’S too early to say for certain, but indications are that Papal pilgrims won’t have to worry about a great deluge as early forecasts predict that it will stay dry next weekend.

For the Festival of Families on Saturday we are set for a dry but cloudy afternoon and evening, according to Accuweather, as the chance of rain appears to be very low.

Temperatures will be around 17C and it will be a cloudy day. Although there will be some rain in Knock on Saturday afternoon, things should be dry for the Pope’s visit on Sunday morning.

It will be 9C overnight, before moving up to 14C as the morning develops. It will be cloudy, and the chance of rain is extremely low. For the Papal Mass in Phoenix Park on Sunday afternoon, there appears to be no rain on the cards. However, Met Éireann won’t confirm a fiveday forecast before the middle of the week.
