What can he do?

John Lee’s front-page story in last Sunday’s MoS (‘Minister will not return early from Camino trip’) implies that Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy should cut his holiday short and return to Ireland because of the housing crisis. But why should he do so? His returning would not free up a single bed. How could it?

He’s not a magician who can pull a house out of a hat or get them to rain out of the sky.
