Mourinho angry that new City movie portrays him as a bad guy

- By Joe Bernstein

JOSE MOURINHO has accused Manchester City, of lacking class following the release of their new fly-onthe-wall documentary, All or Nothing.

Mourinho is furious he is frequently mentioned in the eight-part show, which features clips of his press conferences.

‘You don’t need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie. My first reaction is if you are a rich club you can buy top players, you cannot buy class,’ said Mourinho.

‘The second reaction is because I am in the movie I could ask for royalties. You know a movie without me doesn’t sell much. I needed to be there.’

Mourinho has been fully briefed about the series which was released by Amazon Prime on Friday. Amazon paid City £10million for unique filming access last season.

More than once, Mourinho press conferences are included, designed to make him look foolish. One dates back to a League Cup tie between Chelsea and Swindon in 2013 when Mourinho reacts badly to being asked why he had left out De Bruyne. The Belgian was sold to Wolfsburg the following January before returning to England to help City become champions. City insist the final editorial content of the show lay with Amazon.

Mourinho cheekily said he’d accept a memento from the last Manchester derby, which United won 3-2 to stop City clinching the title at the Etihad in April, in lieu of any payment for his ‘role’ in their film.

‘If they send me one of the shirts they had in the tunnel when we played there, I give up about the royalties,’ he said. ‘The shirts that were saying “We did it on derby day”.
