IT’S easy to overlook the scale of the Garda operation that swung into action for the Pope’s visit… but this picture tweeted by @ GardaTraffic yesterday morning just before Pope Francis flew into Dublin Airport makes it very clear.
It shows row after row of brown paper bags, each containing a snack for the gardaí policing the streets yesterday.
