SMART CUBE CAN SHAPE YOUR SOUND
At the huge IFA technology show in Berlin last week there was plenty of new tech on display from smart nappies to new phones from Nokia and breathtaking 8K televisions. However, one device that caught the eye was the new home-speaker from Huawei. The AI Cube, is an Alexa enabled smart speaker that combines a 4G router also. This means you can insert a SIM card and create a Wi- Fi hotspot with the device that gets you internet access using a mobile connection. There is also a standard Ethernet port that allows you to connect it to your home broadband. The sharp minimalist design is easy on the eye and as a smart speaker packs a punch in the sound stakes. The secret to this is the large 400ml sound cavity and the aluminium diaphragm which help create crystal clear audio and a very punchy bass. The inclusion of Ethernet and a 4G router make this as appealing to use in a holiday home or dorm but it’s equally useful in the living room. The AI Cube will go on sale closer to Christmas with pricing announced soon.
