The Irish Mail on Sunday - - COMMENT -

aftermath of the Scally Report, the Taoiseach said he was ‘embarrassed’ for the medical profession and called on consultants to apologise to patients. I’m sure the consultants are quaking in their boots. The god complex in many consultants does not just colour their attitude to patients, it also affects their view of hospital management, of nursing and subordinate staff, the HSE and the Government. They are equal opportunity offenders in this regard.
