Loutish McGregor antics lower the bar once more
CONOR McGREGOR’S press conference to promote his UFC showdown with Khabib Nurmagomedov was a cringe-fest from start to finish.
With no supporters allowed in to limit the event’s riot potential (what a wonderful “sport”), McGregor’s expletive and borderline racist rants had a hollow echo.
The Crumlin man seemed primarily motivated by the need to push his new whiskey. Indeed, the ‘Notorious’ even took time to slag off industry giant Jameson, dismissing it as ‘danced-on s**t’.
Acting like a drunk boor getting the DART home after a night out, as McGregor pranced about the stage delivering his unfunny lines while brandishing his whiskey bottle, the overall impression was of a man whose career is on the rocks.
