ROY KEANE
never had much time for golf so it hardly comes as a surprise that he has declined an invitation to the The K Club tomorrow. At the instigation of Niall Quinn, all Ireland internationals who played under Jack Charlton have been invited for a unique charity gathering at the County Kildare venue. Jack, 83, doesn’t get away much these days, so it’s a rare chance for the players he managed over the course of 94 games from 1986 to 1995 to say hello and pose for a photo or two. Keane, though, will be busy preparing his team for the Liam Miller game in Cork.
