The Irish Mail on Sunday

Crossword master

I’D LIKE to call for a round of applause for the compiler of the MoS prize crossword, which appears on the letters page. Each week the puzzle puts the emphasis on a particular theme and in the latest puzzle it was the letter G. After completing the crossword last Sunday, I counted 39 Gs. Fair play to the setter for that was a g-g-great idea. Each week he or she provides a test for crossword addicts.

I am one of those and with a decent prize on offer every Sunday, it is one of my unfufilled ambitions to be the winner some week in the future.
