Clarke ignores Ryder hoopla

DARREN CLARKE, losing European captain in 2016, may have found it tough to be at Le Golf National on Friday, as Europe flipped the 4-0 whitewash they suffered on the opening morning in Hazeltine two years ago. As it happens, Clarke (right) was across the Atlantic playing at Pebble Beach in a US Seniors tour event while also celebrating his son’s 18th birthday over there.
