Broadband blackout

EIR customers around the country were left without broadband yesterday in an unfortunate twist to a week in which the National Broadband Plan was placed in jeopardy.

The problem wasn’t exclusive to Ireland, with some providers across the world also suffering an outage as routine maintenance is carried out on key internet infrastructure.
