It’s a dull title for what turns out to be the most exciting TV series I’ve seen in years. It’s about the 1973 kidnapping of J Paul Getty’s grandson. When we were young, my wife and I knew Penelope Kitson, Getty’s mistress-inchief – played in the series by Anna Chancellor. It’s a high-octane rollercoaster, set at Sutton Place, the Jacobean mansion where Getty lived, and in Italy, where the kidnapping took place. The Italian actors are beyond brilliant and Donald Sutherland as the extraordinary, charismatic and terrifying Getty deserves every award going. DVD, 1 series
