Bad start for Martial, good finish

-

WHEN is a bad touch a good one? When it ends up with Anthony Martial lashing Manchester United into the lead.

Juan Mata did the spadework with a charging run down the right wing — leaving David Luiz in his wake — and then found Marcus Rashford, whose clipped pass picked out Martial.

The Frenchman’s first touch was a heavy one, yet it worked in his favour. Marker Cesar Azpilicueta was wrong-footed and Martial curled an unstoppable drive beyond keeper Kepa.
