US punk-pop types You Me At Six are in the Dublin Academy this evening. Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish play the second of their shows in Dublin’s Button Factory and the influentia­l Interpol rock up to the Olympia Theatre for a trio of shows tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday. Bosnian dance outfit Dubioza Kolektiv are in Dolan’s of Limerick tonight. Rising UK techno star Alan Fitzpatric­k is in Sintillate in Sligo tomorrow and Florence & The Machine pay an overdue visit for a show in the 3Arena. Madeleine Peyroux performs in Dublin’s National Concert Hall on Tuesday while grungy Aussies Skegss come to Dublin’s Grand Social. Gig of the week for me is one featuring Shame, Fontaines DC and The Murder Capital in the Tivoli, Dublin, on Wednesday. The Coral play the Limelight, Belfast, that day, ahead of a Thursday show in the Academy in Dublin. Kiran Leonard is in the Róisín Dubh in Galway on Wednesday and Whelan’s in Dublin on Thursday. Hermitage Green head north to the Empire in Belfast on Thursday and Boots & Kats will lay down the boogie in Sintillate in Sligo. On Friday, Picturehou­se play the Dublin Academy while The Riptide Movement are at Galway’s Róisín Dubh. Catch Cast in the Limelight Belfast on Friday and then the Dublin Academy on Saturday. Galway gal Laoise is in Dublin’s Grand Social on Saturday, while Stephen James Smith tells it like it is in the Button Factory and the marvellous Camille O’Sullivan is in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.
