was interestin­g that GAA authoritie­s cited the arrival of the qualifiers in 2001 in support of their decision to maintain the status quo with Dublin and Croke Park as a neutral venue.

The CCCC say teams have been happy to accept Croker as a neutral venue since then.

That doesn’t justify continuing the practice. Dublin were one of the pack in 2001. Not now.
