Evra set for role at Old Trafford
MANCHESTER UNITED are discussing a new role for Patrice Evra at the club.
The 37-year-old has been a constant presence alongside executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward at games since October, and has been allowed into the dressing room by Jose Mourinho.
United are looking to bring in a director of football, but the former United defender (above) is likely to have an ambassadorial or liaison remit. Evra gets on well with many of the first team players, such as fellow Frenchmen Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
Meanwhile, Paris SaintGermain are the latest club to show interest in United defender Eric Bailly.
The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international is increasingly frustrated over his dip in form and lack of game time. Arsenal and Tottenham also both admire the centre-back.
