Howe: Scrappy goals were our downfall
EDDIE HOWE blamed defensive sloppiness for spoiling a potentially good performance in defeat to Manchester City.
Bournemouth have now conceded 16 goals in four games away at City since being promoted to the Premier League.
Howe said: ‘We believed before the game, we believed at half-time. The plan was going the way we wanted it to.
‘I don’t think we looked too vulnerable. We certainly can improve with the goals we conceded. I thought the goals were scrappy and avoidable.’
