LOOK SMART WITH THIS TIMEPIECE...

-

Smartwatches often look a bit too techy to attract those of us who like a traditional, well-designed watch. Award-winning tech firm Oaxis is aiming to change that, with their new watch, called Timepiece. It’s a smart waterproof analogue dress watch with a built-in heart rate monitor. Available in four different colour and strap combinations, not only does it look the part, it also features impressive technology for the everyday person on the go. It has a Swiss made Ronda movement, a stainless steel case and double-domed glass. The Timepiece also notifies the wearer about incoming calls and texts, analyses sleep quality and counts steps as well and keeps track of your heart-rate. This time-telling gadget is also water, dust, dirt and sand proof and features a quick release strap. Timepiece is powered by an ultra-low energy module and the battery will run the watch for over a month, from a single charge. Charging, when you need to, is a snap as the watch’s dock will automatically guide the watch into place and start charging, no matter how it is placed. The Oaxis Timepiece is designed to be as fashionable on the wrist at a meeting as it is useful whilse exercising. It’s available in four designs, starting from €110 on Kickstarter and delivery is expected to be in the spring of 2019.
