GUNNERS LEAVE IT LATE…AGAIN!
ARSENAL needed yet another second-half surge to secure their 1-0 victory against Huddersfield.
The Gunners are yet to lead at half-time in any of their 16 matches this season and sit second from bottom in the ‘first-half’ table, having gone into the break level 12 times and behind on four occasions.
Unai Emery has responded with 14 substitutions before the start of the second half, more than any other side this term, and he did the same again at the Emirates taking off both defender Stephan Lichtsteiner and striker Alexandre Lacazette at the break.
Arsenal have scored the most goals via substitutes (8) of any team this season but it was starter Lucas Torreira who sealed the win with a majestic overhead kick.
