Official Secrets (2019) 15 u

(Sky Store, Virgin) ★★★ It’s hard to make journalism riveting on screen, but this starry true-life drama, about a whistle-blower who called out dirty tricks in the run-up to the Iraq War, does a fair job. Keira Knightley gives a subtle performance as memo-leaking GCHQ employee Katharine Gun.

From Monday. SKY ON DEMAND

COMEDY Marley’s Ghosts (All nine episodes) ★★★ Sarah Alexander plays a woman trapped with the ghosts of her husband (John Hannah, above, with Alexander) and lover (Nicholas Burns) in a comedy that has a shot of poignancy to give it depth.

COMEDY Flight Of The Conchords (All 22 episodes) ★★★★ Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement’s deadpan musical comedy about innocent New Zealanders finding their way in New York City. The first series has a more natural feel than the second, but the songs they sing are great all the way through.

MOVIE Rampage (2018) 12 u ★★★ Big action fun with real heart, starring Dwayne Johnson as a primatologist dealing with a giant crocodile, wolf and gorilla.

NETFLIX

NEW! I Am Not Okay With This (Season 1) ★★★★ Superpowers go hand in hand with rising adolescent angst in Netflix’s new US drama. Sophia Lillis gives a sympathetic performance as Sydney, a wellmeaning 15-year-old whose anger at her friends and family is leaking out in uncontrollable ways. For more details, see page 67. From Wednesday.

NEW! Altered Carbon (Season 2) ★★★ Avengers star Anthony Mackie takes over the lead of this Blade Runner-style drama, which is set in a future where people can switch bodies. Mackie adds charisma to a series that usually puts looks and ideas ahead of character, and has a nice double act with the computer-generated Poe (Chris Conner, above). From Thursday.

NEW! Formula 1: Drive To Survive (Season 2) ★★★★ The cameras go behind the scenes once again for the 2019 Formula 1 season. From Friday.
