Tim Vincent gets comedians Russell Kane, Sean Hegarty and Mick Ferry to talk honestly about their fears and worries on becoming fathers. A reassuring programme for those new to parenthood.

The Lyric Feature SUNDAY, 6PM, LYRIC FM ★★★★

This three-part series has seen Regan Hutchins join artists, poets, friends and family to hear how we encounter morning, noon and night. This evening’s final installmen­t looks at night and asks if we have banished the night with a flick of an electric switch? We’ll take a night walk with an artist, pray for our souls and hear about a mysterious night visitor called The Little Nun in this programme of short features, poetry and prose.

MONDAY, 2.15PM, BBC RADIO 4 ★★★★★ Written by Lucia Haynes, this gripping drama explores the psychologi­cal impact of murder.

A young man has been killed – and forensic psychiatri­st Dr Alex Bridges interviews the members of his familyto make a pre-trial assessment of the case – in the first of a seven-part true-crime drama series. Compelling listening.

The Interrogat­ion

WEDNESDAY, 2.15PM, BBC RADIO 4 ★★★★★ A middle-aged man is arrested for shopliftin­g, but DCI Max Matthews (Kenneth Cranham) and DS Sean Armitage (Alex Lanipekun) are more worried about his past dealings with the police in Roy Williams’ hard-hitting contempora­ry crime drama.
