Maggie Molloy and Kieran McCarthy (right) come to the aid of Mary and Dave, who live in a rustic thatched cottage in Kilmallock, Co Limerick. The couple are currently renting and would like to find a budget property of their own. Mary would love to add alpacas to the couple’s growing collection of animals.

Five budding designers are out to impress the judges, including Brian Burke (right), and win a place at the 2021 Bloom festival. The contestant­s are heading to a new housing developmen­t in Rowlestown, north Co Dublin, where they will each be given an identical garden to work their magic on.

This Horizon special follows the comedian, who was rarely off our screens in the Eighties and Nineties, as he looks at his bipolar disorder and tries to find a definitive diagnosis. His old university chum Stephen Fry (right, with Slattery) is on hand to help.
