This time last year, Bong Joon-ho’s psychological thriller and social satire had just won the Palme d’Or at Cannes. It would go on to win two Baftas and four Oscars, including Best Picture, becoming the first foreign-language film ever to do so. And the hype was deserved, as we travel to Seoul and watch the impoverished but resourceful Kim family (Park Sodam, above left, with Choi Woo-sik) inveigle their way into the cosseted, lives of the wealthy Parks.
