The incredible series following the UK’s North West Ambulance Service across Merseyside returns – and it’s a tense start. A 19-year-old man has been stabbed and Rob, an advanced paramedic, can’t help him until they know the attacker is gone. Will he get there in time? Elsewhere, St Patrick’s Day is well under way, and a flirty 70-year-old has broken her arm at Albert Dock. Crewmates –and couple – Paul and Emma see a patient with chest pains, and Emma keeps her at ease by bonding over their shared Irish roots.

Landscape gardener Mark Hoey is challenged to come up with a design for disability and independen­t living campaigner Shelly Gaynor (right) who wants a space that is beautiful while being accessible to her and her friends and family.

Jane Austen’s final novel was unfinished when she died, but writer Andrew Davies is filling in the blanks with this period drama. Rose Williams stars as Charlotte, who arrives in a seaside town that is undergoing some big changes.
