Michael McIntyre’s Big Laughs 8.15PM, BBC1 ★★★★

Sadly, this isn’t a new series of the comedian’s Big Show – surprising members of the public by unexpectedly putting them on a stage in front of a packed theatre or entering their bedrooms at night isn’t that advisable at the moment. However, it is the next best thing, as Michael rounds up some of the best bits from previous episodes. They include the look of sheer shock on Judge Rinder’s face when he discovered he was a contestant in the Midnight Gameshow and some of the funniest celebrity Send To Alls.

Miranda and Max are trying to get to the bottom of the theft of the famous Icon of St Nicholas, but it threatens to cause a rift between them – especially when Innes removes them from the investigation when a suspect goes missing.

The Masked Singer US 5PM, UTV ★★★★

The British take on this show, where celebrities perform from underneath elaborate outfits, was one of the most talkedabout and surprisingly addictive programmes of this year. Now, here’s a chance to check out the US version.

Thai Cave Rescue 8.40PM, RTé2 ★★★★

On 23 June 2018, 12 boys and their football coach went exploring in Thailand’s Chiang Rai province and became trapped in a cave. This documentary tells their story and that of the international rescue team who saved them.
