- By Niamh Walsh

ROZANNA PURCELL has set the stage for a summer of staycations with a stunning social media journey taking her from Dublin to Dingle and Tipperary to Kilkenny.

The foodie, her boyfriend Zach Desmond and their pet rescue Jack Russell Willay, packed their bags and bones and took a trip through Kerry on their way to Tipperary, demonstrating how the staycations we’re all being forced to take this summer can be just as enjoyable as a holiday abroad.

Roz rented a quaint cottage in Dingle, which she showcased on her social media pages. The six-sleeper country idyll is situated in the Kerry hills just a stone’s throw from the Kingdom’s renowned beauty spots.

From home-cooked dinners in their Airbnb rental, to mountain hikes, 29-year-old

Roz even managed to get in a Baywatch Dingle-style shot as she ran the beaches in a red swimsuit, her loyal dog Willay happily running by her side.

The trio then headed off to Roz’s hometown in Tipperary where they visited her parents who had arranged a socially distanced lunch for their daughter and Zach.

Clearly delighted to be reunited after months of enforced separation, there was comfort food and flowers for the celebratory meal, not forgetting a specially prepared dish for Willay.

They then set off to Kilkenny where Roz indulged her passion for fitness and hiking amid the stunning scenery.

There they visited Castlecomer Park where she took time to highlight and detail all of the wonderful attractions that Kilkenny has to offer visitors this summer.

Roz’s staycation has offered a beautiful insight taking followers on her virtual journey with prices, pictures and tips to showcase how wonderful a summer spent in Ireland can be for those opting for a vacation at home.
