How to get the Pippa look... for less

Her new collection is out now but there’s no need to break the bank

- By Niamh Walsh

PIPPA O’CONNOR launched her latest fashion range this month in Dublin’s swanky Westbury Hotel surrounded by her celebrity circle, with a collection of bomber jackets and sneakers taking pride of place. And while her new pieces were praised by her friends, eyebrows were raised by fashion followers at the price-tags that come with a Pippa piece.

Prompted by the subsequent sigh of sartorial disbelief that swamped social media, the Irish Mail on Sunday set off on a cyber-shopping spree to get that Pippa look for less than the prices being commanded by the influencer.

And to our fashion-loving joy we bagged a virtual plethora of pieces from global fashion houses, big-brand designers and high street shops at a fraction of the cost.

Global fashion names like Kurt Geiger, Reebok, Nike and a host of other names are all available for, in some cases, a lot less than Pippa, nipping claims that cheaper means tattier in the bud.

Destination couture sites like Browns, Net-aPorter are also selling designer pieces similar to Pippa’s latest collection that checkout at a lower cost. And if jeans are your thing, massive brands like Levi’s and other top denim names also have stylish jeans to suit all shapes, sizes and tastes that also sell for less than Pippa’s heralded Poco collection.

High street store River Island’s hugely popular Molly range of jeans, whose quality and fit mirror the Pocos, are on sale and delivered from the store you your door.

And to top off the look we found slogan tees, hoodies and even candles and planners that are low on cost but big and beautiful on style.
