Warnock’s verdict: I’ve got a soft spot for him because I signed him on a free when I was at Cardiff. Classy defender. Very rarely lets you down.
SAM CLUCAS
Club: Stoke City Age: 29 Position: Central midfielder
Warnock’s verdict: Super midfielder who can be very influential in matches. One of the reasons I think Stoke will have a decent season.
JOE LOLLEY
Club: Nottingham Forest Age: 28 Position: Winger
Warnock’s verdict: Scores goals and creates goals.
Very good attacking midfielder who will be a big asset for Forest.
GERARD DEULOFEU
Club: Watford Age: 26 Position: Winger
Warnock’s verdict: I know he’s out injured at the moment but he’s absolute quality on the ball. Shone in the Premier League and will be a nightmare for defenders in the Championship.
