Lady Gaga gets her dogs back – three days after they were stolen at gunpoint

ONLY hours after she revealed she was praying for an ‘act of kindness’, a frantic Lady Gaga’s kidnapped French bulldogs were handed in to police by a mystery rescuer.

It was three days after they were snatched by armed robbers on a Hollywood street but less than a day after the pop star offered a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her dogs Koji and Gustav.

Details of their return remain clouded in mystery, but a police spokesman said an unnamed woman delivered them to a police station six miles from the robbery scene in Los Angeles.

Police said the woman appeared to be ‘uninvolved and unassociated’ with the robbery. It is not known whether Lady Gaga’s reward has been claimed.

The police station is close to the Koreatown district of central Los Angeles, a 30-minute drive from the home of Ryan Fischer, 30, Lady Gaga’s trusted aide and her dog walker.

Lady Gaga, 34, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, is in Rome working on a Ridley Scott film about the Gucci ‘Black Widow’ Patrizia Reggiani, who was jailed for the murder of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci, one-time head of the luxury fashion company.

While Lady Gaga is yet to make a public statement about her dogs being returned, sources close to the star said she was ‘extremely upset’ at the shooting of Mr Fischer.

He was ambushed outside his home just off Sunset Boulevard on Wednesday at 9.40pm as he walked Koji, Gustav and the star’s third dog, Miss Asia. While his attackers fled with Koji and Gustav, Mr Fischer was found still clutching

Miss Asia, despite being shot in the chest. He is expected to make a full recovery. On Friday, Lady Gaga wrote on Twitter that she was praying that her dogs – who regularly star on her Instagram account and who she calls her ‘family’ – would be returned.

She wrote: ‘My heart is sick. I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for their safe return.’

The singer also said: ‘I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.’

She also set up an email address for any information that the public had on the robbery.

Dramatic CCTV footage obtained by LA-based showbusiness website TMZ shows a white hatchback car pulling up next to Mr Fischer before two men jump out and hold a gun against Mr Fischer.

One of the men says ‘Give it up’ before Mr Fischer screams for help and shouts after Koji.

The sound of a gunshot can then be heard as Mr Fischer collapses. The thieves then jump in the car, carrying a dog each. Miss Asia, however, ran back to Mr Fischer, who was treated by paramedics before they took him to hospital.
