Ireland’s Fittest Family coach bares all... of her backside online!
SHOWBUSINESS is all about working from the bottom to get to the top, and Anna Geary is clearly taking that route – albeit accidentally.
The Ireland’s Fittest Family coach has over 100,000 followers on Instagram thanks to her regular fitness workouts, but this week she showed more than how to perfect a push-up, when her bare bottom went viral after a photo faux pas.
The GAA-star-turned-TV-personality was doing her daily workouts when some followers caught a glimpse of her backside which was visible in a mirror.
But Anna’s unintentional bottom picture had the effect of raising her follower count as she gained thousands of new followers after the picture went viral online.
She has amassed more than 12,000 new followers to her Instagram page in less than a week with over 2,000 coming after her ‘rear-view image’ went viral.
Despite having perhaps a slightly red face over her social media mishap, it certainly has not dented her popularity.
Geary didn’t respond yesterday to attempts to contact her.
A seasoned athlete, the 33 year old has won four All-Ireland camogie titles, including when she captained Cork in 2014. The former Rose Of Tralee for Cork has won four All Stars – in 2005, 2006, 2010, and 2011 – and has turned her passion for sports into a successful media career.
She was a contestant on RTÉ’s Dancing With The Stars in 2018 where she made the finals but narrowly lost out on lifting the glitterball trophy to eventual winner, singer Jake Carter.
She married boyfriend Kevin Sexton in October 2019 in Killeagh Church in her home county of Cork, before a reception and celebrations continued at the luxury Castlemartyr Resort.
Of late she has been on screen as a coach on Ireland’s Fittest Family but last month she was reduced to tears after being the first coach axed from the show. She said on Instagram after the elimination of her family, the Brackens: ‘I can still remember how tense this was. Gutted to be going home.’
