In 1987, Mark Hofmann hit the headlines when he pleaded guilty to murder, theft by deception and fraud, resulting in a life sentence. The charges related to forged documents and three bombing incidents in Salt Lake City in which two people were killed and two more – including himself – were injured. This three-part documentary explores Hofmann’s crimes, which targeted members of the Church Of Latter Day Saints.
