AC-12 have DCI Joanne Davidson (the excellent Kerry Macdonald) firmly in their sights as they continue to investigat­e police links with organised crime. Prepare for one of those interrogat­ion scenes that this gripping crime drama does so well.

The series concludes with a look at the metal scene. It finds that many fans are proud of hard rock’s Irish roots, with Thin Lizzy still held up as heroes. It also meets members of the band Na Cruithne, who combine metal and Irish trad.

A warm tribute to the man who walked the cobbles as lovable rogue Mike Baldwin for 30 years, featuring contributi­ons from his co-stars and plenty of rich archive footage.

Fiona Shaw guest stars as Fleabag’s counsellor, which is a difficult job – but she does manage to elicit an uncomforta­ble truth. Fleabag also has a run-in with her brother-in-law, whose son Jake is looking for Claire.

MasterChef 9PM, BBC1 ★★★★ Just ten chefs remain in the penultimat­e week of the contest, and Gregg Wallace and John Torode split them into two groups as we go into the semi-finals. On Friday, the remainder cook for an intimidati­ng panel of food critics.
