Dr McDreamy finds himself in his own idyllic Irish reverie

BE STILL our beating hearts. Patrick Dempsey, aka Dr McDreamy himself, has been jogging the country lanes of Ireland with his shorts and smile causing something of a stir. Dempsey, who won a legion of global fans as a surgeon in Grey’s Anatomy, has been joined by actress Amy Adams, both right, as they begin filming the highly anticipated sequel to their hit Disney film Enchanted.

And despite having just touched down, Ireland has already cast its own spell over the Hollywood pair.

Six-time Oscarnominated Adams took to Instagram to confirm her arrival, telling her 619,000 followers: ‘I am in Ireland, where I’m getting ready to start filming on the sequel to Enchanted, which I am very excited about.’

Dempsey, meanwhile, has been posting snaps as he jogs past green fields and sheep.

On his Instagram page he posted a photo of the Irish countryside with the caption: ‘Ireland!’

While he didn’t provide his exact location, there is much excitement in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, where magic is in the air as sets have been appearing almost overnight in anticipation of filming of the sequel to the Disney hit, which is titled Disenchanted.
