After Demi Moore pioneered the celebrity pregnancy photoshoot, posing as a nude goddess in all her baby bump glory, and Beyoncé finessed the genre with a Botticelliinspired portrait of her twin pregnancy, along comes rihanna in what looks like a casual snap of her pulling apart her pink parka to reveal a bejewelled bump, left, on a chilly, empty New York street. the candid style belies the meticulous planning that went into the shot which was taken by hot new fashion paparazzo Diggzy and its subtle promotion of street style.

Yet, if it is half as influential as Demi Moore’s photo, it might help kill off the fashion among young women for posting heavily photoshopped bikini selfies on social media. In which case, thank you, rihanna.
