Those are big boots for a Little Woman, Florence!
SHE’S riding high as Marvel’s Black Widow – and has even been tipped to play Madonna in the pop queen’s forthcoming biopic – but there’s little chance of Florence Pugh getting too big for her boots. Not in this pair, anyway…
The Little Women star donned an eye-catching over-the-knee leather design on a night out in Los Angeles this week, with sizeable heels that helped narrow the gap between her 5ft 4in frame and her 6ft boyfriend, actor Zach Braff.
And she wasn’t the only member of the group in chunky footwear – at one point she knelt down to help another friend with her boot laces.
The British actress wore a stylish €355 geometric-patterned mini-dress from sustainable online label Reformation,
‘I would never tell anyone who they can or can’t love’
which she matched with a €3,500 Louis Vuitton Twist MM bag.
She also sported a nose ring as she and Braff were seen larking about outside the El Rey Theatre after watching a show from American singer-songwriter Joshua Radin, Braff’s close friend.
Clutching a drink in a plastic cup, Pugh, who shot to stardom playing Amy in hit 2019 film Little Women, hugged other members of the group. She and Braff were seen sneakily puffing on cigarettes as they waited for a taxi.
Also in the party were Donald Faison, who costarred with Braff in the hospital sitcom Scrubs, and his partner Amanda Kloots, who was in last year’s US Dancing With The Stars. Pugh and Braff have received snide comments about their 20-year age gap. Pugh, 26, hit back at one social media troll with, ‘I do not need you to tell me who I should and should not love. I would never in my life ever tell anyone who they can and cannot love’. In a later podcast, she added: ‘I’ve always found it funny how I can be good enough for people to watch my work and support my work and pay for tickets and I’m old enough to be an adult and pay taxes, but I’m not old enough to know who I should and should not have sex with.’
The couple met in 2019 when Pugh starred in a short film Braff directed called In The Time It Takes To Get There. Their relationship became public later that year when a picture of them on holiday together in Spain was posted on Instagram.
