Beauchamp dies at 50

JOEY BEAUCHAMP, the West Ham record signing who never appeared for the club, has died. He was 50.

Oxford sold the winger to West Ham for £1.2m in 1994, but he quickly moved to Swindon. Ex-U’s boss Brian Horton said: ‘He was one of the most talented players I ever managed.’
