Now you can talk to the experts at the Future Beauty show

-

Former beauty editor Liz Dwyer and her sister Nikki created the Future Beauty two-day show for the public a few years ago and brought experts from every area of the industry to talk and share their knowledge. The beauty category is vast, from non-invasive beauty treatments for firming or body sculpting to skincare and solutions for skin conditions. Cosmetic procedures have become more popular, as is the demand for advanced dentistry and hair replacement therapy. Next month, Liz and Nikki bring together an impressive list of leading experts in dermatology, plastic and eye surgery, medical and aesthetic experts and obstetricians for this two-day event. Liz tells me what to expect. ‘Highlights include the main stage talks, where the experts will be discussing, and performing live demonstrations where feasible, the latest technologies, tweakments and procedures that they have found work best for their patients for all sorts of concerns from tired eyes, to post partum bodies, worn down teeth to worn out skin. They will present all of the options available from gentle clinical fixes to surgery options.’

Off the main stage there is a demo stage. Liz says: ‘Visitors can also try out lots of mini and full clinical treatments on site, such as Emsculpt Neo body reshaping, Emsella chairs, HydraFacials, cryotherapy, Dermapen and lots more for free, to establish if it’s something they might like to pursue a course of with a local clinic. They can also avail of dental consultations onsite, to establish what course of treatments could best improve their smile.’

New additions to this year’s show include a Menopause Hub, and two more for hair and weight loss where the appropriate experts will be discussing issues, lifestyle tips and options.

After a long time in beauty, Liz realises just how difficult it is for people to access beauty industry and medical experts. Future Beauty was Liz and Nikki’s brainchild to correct that.

Liz says: ‘Basically, it’s a one-stop shop to do all your aesthetics research, meet leading medics who are normally very hard and expensive to access, try out new tweakments and beauty tech and have a brilliant, fun day out with your friends or other half.’

Some of the experts on board are Prof Caitríona Ryan, consultant dermatologist, Dr Peter Prendergast, aesthetic doctor, and Dr Caoimhe Hartley, menopause expert. Ticket prices start at €30.24 for a one-day pass on either day, or €50.40 for a two-day pass.
