Beckhams learn the importance of talent at their mother’s knee

AFTER giving their reunion a wide berth, it appears that Victoria Beckham (right) may be about to perform with the Spice Girls for Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee. What a treat for fans – and indeed Posh’s offspring, the latest of whom, Cruz, pictured, has just launched his music career, posing in his underwear on the cover of a glossy magazine, without a song to his name. Not that he or Brooklyn, who became a chef without any qualifications, or Romeo, a model, need persuading. But seeing their mother moving on stage like a marionette while struggling to hold a tune beside her more skilful bandmates will confirm them in the view that, when it comes to fame and fortune, talent is purely incidental.
