Motion 1: New football championsh­ip green proposal, which will see the integratio­n of League and championsh­ip, will lead to the preliminar­y rounds of the Sam Maguire and Tailteann Cups played in four team mini leagues.

Passed – For 94.7%; Against 5.3%

Motion 2: A move to replace the minor U-17 grade (from next year) and, in 2024 and ’25, with a single under-19 grade on a three -year probationa­ry period Failed – For 55.6%; Against 44.4% (60% majority required)

Motion 27: An amendment to the double-sanction penalty/sinbin rule introduced last year for cynical fouls inside the semicircle is now limited to fouls 25 metres from each sideline, judged by ref’s ‘rule of thumb’. Passed – For 79.5 %; Against 20.5%

Motion 33: GPA motion calling for the GAA to prioritise integratio­n with the Camogie Associatio­n and the LGFA. Passed: For 89.8%; Against 10.2%

Motion 34: A proposal from the Rathdowney club in Laois calling for all players who, prior to playing adult championsh­ip, to have completed a course on alcohol, gambling and substance abuse. Perceived in particular to address the use of cocaine among GAA players. It was deemed to be impossible to implement and the club were asked to refer to the National Wellbeing Committee:
