Surrogate invite shows Rosanna’s true kindness

-

Rosanna Davison continues to confound the stereotype of the rich Western lady exploiting some of the poorest women in the world through unregulated surrogacy.

With a war raging in Ukraine, she has been in contact with her oldest child’s surrogate, inviting her and her little daughter to stay with Rosanna, pictured, and her family in ireland.

Many parents might be wary about having their surrogate living under their roof, lest they bond too much with the child they gave birth to. Rosanna’s fearlessness on that score and her eagerness to help in an emergency, suggests that the bond of gratitude she feels towards the surrogate is stronger even than the primal bond of childbirth.
