Ryan Reynolds is reunited with Free Guy director Shawn Levy in this entertaining family saga revolving around time travel. Reynolds’s fighter-pilot character, Adam, travels back from 2050 to 2022 in order to save the human race – isn’t it always the case? This involves meeting up with his 12-year-old self (Walker Scobell), and then the pair of them travelling further back to meet their late father (Mark Ruffalo). Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana (above, with Reynolds) also star. Versions of the script have been kicking around for 10 years, and Tom Cruise was originally slated to play Adam.
