EASTENDERS
■ IT’S YOUR FUNERAL
Scruffy Hair Week is upon us, when Linda returns and joins Janine and Nancy in the Freaky Follicle competition. Tempers are raised, and at the crematorium Linda drunkenly causes a scene after recognising Janine as the woman who told her to divorce Mick. Will there be more ructions when Frankie (main picture, far right, with Janine, Mick and Linda) catches Janine and Mick almost kissing? After the funeral, they kiss again (pictured, inset), but Mick decides to do things ‘correctly’ and finalise the divorce. It doesn’t take long, and after telling Janine he’s moved on, he kisses her in public. Get a room, you two; you’re ruining my appetite.
Zack’s decency comes through when he misses the cookery competition to support Nancy (breathe a sigh of relief, judges). Upset at his not telling her that Linda slept at Sharon’s, after discovering his kind gesture she tries to make up and has a proposition for him. I like Zack, but am not totally convinced by the personality transplant from wide boy to the Angel Gabriel. Owning a white polo neck doesn’t make you a saint.
Good news: Rocky and Kathy seem back together. Then they’re not. Change the record.
