The Hippocratic maxim ‘first do no harm’ comes into play in this medical thriller, whose intriguing premise elevates it above the norm. Joanne Kelly (Warehouse 13) stars as Ivy, a woman apparently suffering from stress who undergoes a scan as part of her check-up. The scan reveals that in fact things are worse than she could have possibly imagined, and she only has a short time to live. Naturally she agrees to the expensive, experimental drug treatment offered to her, however as her care progresses she begins to have doubts — not only about the meds, but also the doctor himself. Is he being entirely honest with her? Shaun Benson co-stars as the shifty medic.
