Seven famous faces follow in the footsteps of Saint Columba, a key figure in early Christianity on these islands. Their spiritual journey will take them almost 1,000 miles, from Donegal to the Hebridean isle of Iona. Collectively, the pilgrims have diverse faiths, but are all friendly and open-minded. Nick Hewer (front, left) describes himself as a ‘soul in flux’, while pagan Laurence LlewelynBowen (back row, second left) is especially entertaining, embracing the spirit of adventure even if he isn’t exactly dressed for it.
